Точки идентификации

  • Orange body with three white bars outlined in black
  • Rounded fins and compact clownfish body shape
  • Bar pattern often includes a narrow white band on the head, midbody, and tail base

среда обитания

Shallow coral reefs, lagoonal patch reefs, and sheltered coastal areas where host anemones occur, especially among branching corals and protected reef flats.

Заметки о приманке

Not a target angling species and is rarely, if ever, taken on hook and line. In aquarium contexts it accepts small marine foods such as mysis shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and quality marine pellets; live feeding is not an angling practice.

Поведение

Omnivorous and territorial, it stays close to its anemone host, feeding on plankton, algae, and small benthic invertebrates. A dominant female leads a small group that usually includes one breeding male.

Осторожность

Handle carefully: it is protected by its anemone host and should not be collected from reefs without local permission; many populations are subject to aquarium-trade regulation. Marine collection may also stress or injure host anemones.

Рыболовные заметки

No practical sport-fishing methods; this species is best observed rather than caught. In aquaria, provide gentle water movement, small food items, and a suitable anemone or surrogate host structure.
